Reebonz has delivered!!!

The Kate Spade Carlsbad Vanessa has landed! And at a most opportune time. I am on call today, and my phone rang sometime after eight p.m. to the tune of a male Malay voice mangling my name and asking me if I was at the Fruit Farm, taking it for my home address. How opportune is that? After all, I’d expected the delivery to happen next week, during office hours. So if I hadn’t been on call today, my phone could have been off and I certainly wouldn’t have been at the Fruit Farm to receive my new baby. My dictum that everything happens for a reason has once again been reinforced.

And now – pictures.

Looks like a cake, but is better. It was pretty funky to see this in the hands of a van driver reeking of cigarettes. Here it is now, against the backdrop of my messy table.

Ribbon untied and lid opened. I can hardly wait.

Ta-dahhh! MY VERY FIRST KATE SPADE! And there was that smell - that smell of new leather which makes men's hearts pound when they open the door of their new car for the first time. IT IS THE SAME SMELL.

Verdict: now I have a zingy red baggie that will spice up any outfit. My first Kate Spade *tear of joy leaks from one eye*. And Reebonz delivers. I am now most happy to provide this link for anyone who’d like to sign up and take a look. Knock yourself out. :)

Hey. It looks good! Impressive! How do I sign up? I wanna get bags too!

Wahahaha I am contagious! Can just click the link in this post, which is an invitation to join Reebonz. No charge to join, so no strings attached if you just wanna look-see. There are sales for Chloe, Dior, Fendi and Burberry bags happening in the next couple days… mwahahaha…

Congratulations–this is another lovely bag! I almost feel as if, given the joy provoked by your new arrival and referring to it as your “new baby,” we should throw you a bag shower or something. Just think about it…the wealthier of your acquaintances could give you more Kate Spade (or comparable brand) bags, and the poorer of us could amuse ourselves with silly bag-themed games.

Maybe that isn’t such a good idea after all.

Mm, I wouldn’t mind said bag-themed games. Please don’t tell Junglelord I called the bag that; he might decide that I am in urgent need of therapy… possibly I do need impulse-control therapy, but I draw the line at psychodynamic.

It’s a good thing you explicitly forbade me from mentioning this to Junglelord–one of our favorite activities during our thrice-weekly tete-a-tetes is to contemplate those among the staff who need therapy. (Just kidding, of course.)

I just bought a YSL and D&G …. amidst a mild depression. by the time I finish clicking … a couple of $000s were gone. (oops) glad you got your bag and yes… Kate Spade rocks isn’t it? Merry christmas and let’s buy more bags (evil laughter)

    • 9. Katie  |  December 17, 2010 at 23:02

Hi Helena, I was tempted by the YSL offerings too! Didn’t get any… though I later caved in to some Ideeli and Lauren Merkin stuff. Credit card bills are gonna be ugly next month. Merry Christmas and happy bagging to you too!

HI Mahak, sorry for replying so late! I hope that your goodies really did arrive, as mine have done in the past. :)
