Where Is My Smitten???

About a year ago, my sister-in-law introduced this magazine, named Project Smitten, to me. I took a look and was, well, pretty much smitten. There were no inane articles about anyone’s best friend stealing their boyfriend, or their husband being gay, or how to have sex upside-down. Just about the whole magazine was devoted to clothes, shoes and bags  – what was in style, how to wear them, and where to get them.

I like. Thereafter, I was a faithful buyer. I discovered Haji Lane because of this magazine. I was particularly chuffed to discover that the editor was an old classmate from long ago.

Then the magazine disappeared. Vanished. The last issue I found was labelled Jan/Feb 2009, an ominous sign because it is supposed to be a monthly publication. I have not been able to find it anywhere since.

There is a beautifully-decorated website, but it gives absolutely zero information. 

I can only conclude that the magazine, as I know it, has met its demise. Evidently, these things need inane articles to stay alive.
